We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our Waltham store until April 7.  Our greatest concern is the safety of our community at this difficult time. Our ice cream is still available in pints at a number of locations in the Greater Boston area where you can pick it up while you are out of the house for your groceries. We hope to see you all again when we reopen.  We also offer gift cards if you wish to show your support in the interim.  Please submit an inquiry through our website or email us at ice-cream-inquiry@lizzyscecream.com to purchase a gift card.

We are now offering in-store pickup and curbside pickup. Call us at 781-893-6677 to place an order and have your payment ready.  You can still come place your order in person as well but please only have one person in your group come inside to place the order. Our takeout menu is available here and it will also be available outside our store and on our door. We continue to offer delivery with DoorDash.

Update from Waltham: We remain open in Waltham with adjusted hours (noon-10:00PM daily) but only for takeout due to the new restrictions.  We encourage you to come by and pick something up to take with you to enjoy at home.

We’re also still available on DoorDash if you prefer to order from home.  We will soon be offering curbside pickup as well.  Keep checking back here and social media for updates.  Harvard Square is closed for the time being but hopes to reopen soon.

We greatly appreciate your support for our small business during this uncertain time.  As of now, Lizzy’s two locations remain open.  We want you to know that we have been closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation with the CDC, WHO, and local health authorities. Our priority is to protect our customers and staff.

As a food business we already take many precautions to prevent illness such as sanitizing surfaces and regular hand washing.  We are now taking extra precautions that include increasing the frequency with which we clean and sanitize every surface including door handles.  We have worked with all our employees on re-emphasizing current policies as well as implementing stricter policies surrounding frequency of handwashing, and the wearing and changing of gloves.

For the safety of our customers, the community, and staff, we politely ask you not to visit us if you are feeling ill.

If you prefer staying at home, we continue to offer delivery through DoorDash from our Waltham location.

Our Waltham store will be open 12:00-5:00PM on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas day.  We’ll be open 12:00PM-5:00PM on New Year’s eve and closed  New Year’s Day.
