We do our very best to answer the phone when it’s busy but it is often difficult due to the high volume of in-store customers. The best time to reach us by phone is between 10:00AM and 6:00PM on weekdays when we usually have someone in the office. If you need to call on the weekend we recommend calling between 12:00PM and 5:00PM.

As a general guide, you should leave your ice cream cake out at room temperature for 30 minutes before cutting it. However, this varies some based on the size of the cake and your freezer. A 6” cake may only need to sit out 20 minutes whereas a 12” x 16” could need to sit out 45 minutes or longer depending on the temperature of the room.
You must store your ice cream cake in a freezer. Ice cream cannot be stored in a refrigerator for very long without melting. It also cannot be stored outside in winter even in New England! It will melt. A refrigerator can be a good way to slowly soften your ice cream cake however. We suggest putting your cake in the fridge an hour before you plan on serving.
