The Scoop on Lizzy’s

Way back in 1995, Lizzy’s was founded by Nick Pappas (one of those eccentric corporate world types). In a bout of mid-life crisis, Nick cashed in his chips as a Digital manager—and dove head first into his dream of making the most delicious ice cream around! Guess what?—it worked!

The right side of Nick’s brain has conjured up some of the most exciting flavors you’ll ever set your tongue on. And his perfectionistic tendencies guarantee that only the finest ingredients are ever used.

It all translates to the best tasting ice cream sundaes anywhere, with no equal. One note of caution: If you have Lizzy’s cater your Sundae Party, be prepared for a very serious lickin’

In 2016 Nick retired, and Lizzy’s was taken over by Miriam Benitez who had been working at Lizzy’s since she was in high school. As a long-time member of the Waltham community, Miriam continues our commitment to the city and to our extended community of guests who visit the store and enjoy our ice cream parties.

At the same time, Phil Rizzuto bought the Harvard Square Location. He continues to operate it as part of the Lizzy’s ice cream family.
